Physical Skills:
Gaining control over:
- Small muscles: using tools, constructive and manipulative material.
- Large muscles: running, hopping, climbing, balancing etc and other outdoor activities.
Mathematical Skills:
- Forming ideas about shape, size, dimension, colour and texture.
- Understanding the concepts of numbers, measurements, spatial
awareness and logic. - Recognising numerals and counting quantities.
- Matching, sorting, grading etc.

Early Reading Skills:
- Developing concentration.
- Handling books with care and listening to, enjoying and comprehending stories.
- Recognising patterns and relationships, similarities and differences.
- Phonic sounds and letters of the alphabet.
- Recognition of own name.
Early Writing Skills:
- Pre writing exercises.
- Drawing lines and the circle.

Creative/Aesthetic Skills:
- Using imaginatively a variety of material such as paint, clay, play dough, paper and recycled material.

- Simple supervised cooking and gardening.
- Singing, dancing, rhythm, and rhyme and movement.
Communication Skills:
- Learning to express their ideas and emotions clearly with reason.
- Broadening their vocabulary through picture reading and other tools.
- Using/understanding terms of positional language as well as comparative and superlative terms.
Computer Skills:
- The computer/laptop is used as in educational tool to reinforce concepts related to the theme of the month.It promotes motor skills and eye hand coordination. The variety of software used broadens a child’s horizons.
Co - Curricular Activities & Events:

Sports Day:
- Sports provide our children with not just physical activity but also help build their self esteem, confidence, social skills and motivate them to excel in life.
- Preschool plus holds an annual Sports Day event for all the classes. Not only do the little ones show their skills in different races, but their parents get to participate too, making it a fun family event.
Annual Concert:
The most anticipated co-curricular event is the annual concert where parents get to see their little ones perform onstage. Through dance children learn spatial awareness, following cues and performing on stage, in front of an audience, gives them the confidence to express themselves through music and movement.


Annual Carnival:
Another fun family event is the Preschool Plus annual carnival. The school staff puts together a wide variety of games, activities and a puppet show centred on a theme. The carnival is open to all.
